About our Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with people and organising tasks as this role underpins the administration services for our internal and external customers and staff. It creates an opportunity for somebody to develop against the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, with a view to joining the team on a permanent basis. This is an operational site and therefore due to Health and Safety considerations, candidates must be 18 or over to apply. Shortlisted candidates will need to be available to attend an assessment centre at EMR Darlaston on Tuesday 27th May 2025. Salary will be £20,000 per annum.

What you will be doing:

  • As a Transport Administration Apprentice, your role will support the Transport team and will have responsibility for the following:
  • You will help to plan, organise and manage the efficient and cost-effective routing of vehicles to ensure the deliveries and collections of the organisation, and our customers are met with a service that will be second to none.
  • You will have the capability to support drivers and offer excellent customer service to all of our customers.
  • You will assist with managing a diverse range of responsibilities to help support with the smooth running of the Transport's operation.
  • You’ll also be involved with a wide range of activities such as promoting and ensuring compliance with transport policies, procedures, legislation and service level improvements.
  • Ensure vehicles are scheduled for service and inspections when required.
