The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an accredited energy assessor across (ideally OCDEA)
  • Have knowledge of Part L and UK building regulations
  • Have experience in overheating (Part O) and SAP
  • Have strong knowledge of construction methods and processes, with familiarity on the drivers for sustainability in the built environment
  • Experience delivering heat decarbonisation plans for large estate owners
  • Exposure and knowledge of London Plan requirements and Future Homes Standards
  • Have experience within residential projects

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake energy assessments through SAP (Elmhurst Design 10 and Stroma FSAP) and SBEM software (IES, iSBEM) to address building regulation and planning policy requirements.
  • Liaise with clients and design teams to gather information, confirm deadlines and provide cost effective compliance advice.
  • Produce reports for clients under tight deadlines
  • Attend design team meetings and workshops
  • Liaise with colleagues to align technical solutions
