The ideal candidate will:
- Be an accredited energy assessor across (ideally OCDEA)
- Have knowledge of Part L and UK building regulations
- Have experience in overheating (Part O) and SAP
- Have strong knowledge of construction methods and processes, with familiarity on the drivers for sustainability in the built environment
- Experience delivering heat decarbonisation plans for large estate owners
- Exposure and knowledge of London Plan requirements and Future Homes Standards
- Have experience within residential projects
Responsibilities:
- Undertake energy assessments through SAP (Elmhurst Design 10 and Stroma FSAP) and SBEM software (IES, iSBEM) to address building regulation and planning policy requirements.
- Liaise with clients and design teams to gather information, confirm deadlines and provide cost effective compliance advice.
- Produce reports for clients under tight deadlines
- Attend design team meetings and workshops
- Liaise with colleagues to align technical solutions
