A leading tier 1 contractor is seeking an ambitious Social Value Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a paramount business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Social Value Coordinator will play a key part in the development and future of the business.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has recently graduated looking to get into the construction industry or someone looking to pursue a career within Social Value. Joining a leading Tier 1 contractor as a Social Value Coordinator within their established social value team, overseeing exciting schemes across the Midlands region, ranging from £50K - £150M. Preferably you will hold a relevant degree within construction, environmental science or social science.
Duties include:
- Supporting and fulfilling client’s contents requests
- Attending regular meetings with local councils, neighbourhoods, and businesses regarding ongoing projects
- Highlighting career opportunities and producing initiatives within schools, colleges, etc., driving and promoting careers in construction
- Driving and implementing company incentives and programmes, promoting the work of the business
- Hosting equality, diversity, and inclusion events
The nature of this role will call upon strong social, people and communication skills. An ambitious nature and self-motivated attitude are essential as you will be responsible for covering up to 6 schemes by yourself and reporting into the Social Value Manager.
