Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional who thrives on making a real impact? We are working with a well-renowned Construction company who are looking for a Health and Safety Lead to support their business for a 12 month FTC covering their Midlands and North regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive meaningful change and support a busy operational environment with a strong focus on collaborative health and safety improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly leadership meetings
- Work closely with on-site teams to positively influence H&S culture
- Undertake operational site visits with the operational health and safety team
- Responsible for a team of operational Health and Safety Advisors
- Continued improvements and influencing of organisational health and safety culture
- Continual movement of health and safety strategy and management system across the business
What We’re Looking For:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent as a minimum
- Proven experience in a similar H&S leadership role within the Construction sector
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Have experience managing a team of direct reports
- Be flexible to travel within a large regional role
- Ability to engage teams at all levels and lead by example
