Job Description
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Director, Head of Institutional Sales LATAM to join a leading international bank in London focused on Fixed Income and Equities LATAM Sales to UK, European, and LATAM clients. Ideally fluent in Brazilian or Portuguese.
Responsibilities include:
- Promote, support, and develop the Company sales and trading capabilities in equity capital market products, fixed income, CDS, notes, private placements, and at times other country's products on behalf of the company's clients with the highest quality standards and within Company Policies and Procedures and UK regulations.
- Provide sales coverage for any other products that the firm endeavors to market.
- Present Senior Management with strategies and ideas that could enhance business.
- Demonstrate sound judgment to make timely, informed decisions that take into account facts, goals, constraints, and risks.
- Maintain a consistent portfolio of clients with proven long-standing relationships with hedge funds and real money accounts (strong relationship with European institutional investors).
- Prospect new clients and implement and build up a CRM base.
The Successful Applicant
The candidate should have:
- 10+ years in fixed income and equities sales.
- Strong European institutional relationships.
- Knowledge of the Brazilian Market.
- Fluency in Brazilian or Portuguese is ideal.
