They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Disassembly Technician, with strong attention to detail and a passion for aviation. Responsibilities:
- Disassemble client customer aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
- Mitigate additional damage and communicate required improvements to tooling and processes.
- Work to strict deadlines.
- Uphold company standards.
- Awareness and understanding of client computer-based MOE (IQMove).
- Liaise and report to Team Leader if any damage occurs, allowing improvements to be investigated.
- Carry out missing and damaged inspections.
- Participate and contribute to team meetings.
- Report any issues or concerns to colleagues and managers.
Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience:
- 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A-C or equivalent.
- A qualification in an engineering subject is desirable.
- Apprenticeship in mechanical assembly/disassembly is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of use of hand tools and PPE.
- Previous use of overhead cranes and forklifts is preferable.
- Previous experience in the Aerospace sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and prioritize safety and quality.
- Great teamwork and communication skills; reliable and trustworthy.
- Ability to work and remain indefinitely in the UK.
