About the Role & Team
This position requires you to work from our Hammersmith office 4 days per week.
One of the core functions of the EMEA Privacy department is overseeing compliance with legal requirements and corporate policy related to the collection and governance of personal data from customers and employees.
The Privacy Compliance Coordinator, EMEA will be responsible for supporting TWDC’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) enterprise-wide compliance program for the Corporate Legal Privacy team. In particular, this individual will process guest requests submitted pursuant to GDPR for access to or deletion of personal information, ensuring they are recorded and fulfilled in a timely fashion. A component of processing involves data analysis and categorization of data returned from various segments. The Privacy Compliance Analyst will be expected to understand compliance processes and standards, identify issues that need to be addressed, communicate those issues to business partners, and document resolutions to ensure compliance.
What You Will Do

Supports the Director with crucial, time sensitive day-to-day operational tasks, such as liaising with key stakeholders (GX/VX/Data Governance/Tech Teams, Legal/Privacy Champions, etc.)

Submits requests into the privacy management system, monitoring the public EMEA Data Protection Office mailbox and any other communication channel through which individuals can submit requests to exercise their privacy rights, ensuring all requests and correspondence are either handled by the Data Protection Office or redirected to the relevant teams for handling.

Liaises with and keeps track of important follow ups on a daily basis, ensuring data has been researched and collected as requested, as well as support in drafting tailored responses to provide to the data subjects accordingly.

Monitors some global incoming communication channels/mailboxes as well as supporting the Global Privacy Team with any work related to data subject requests as necessary.

Handling of requests and correspondence is primarily for EMEA residents; however, for guests visiting WDW and submitting requests, or for non-EMEA guests visiting Disneyland Paris and submitting requests, this process is handled by the Coordinator and Director in coordination with the US/Global Privacy Team.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Strong written and oral communication skills – particularly within large organizations

Proven experience in successfully navigating complex organizations with excellent internal and external partner management skills

Experience managing multiple projects in various phases of development and prioritizing diverse workloads on a daily basis

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining focus and attention to detail

Self-motivated, results driven

Experience reading and interpreting legal documents

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (both in designing/creating documents, databases, and spreadsheets and updating them)

Strong typing and data entry skills
