We need a class 2 driver for our client in Southend who is a multinational DIY and home improvement retailing company.

Temporary and ongoing work

Start times between 6am - 11 am

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing deliveries with a driver's mate to help (reasonable daily number of drops)
  • Loading and unloading your truck as required
  • Completing paperwork (required)
  • Good timesheets administration
  • Completing a daily vehicle walk around check
  • Keeping the truck in good condition

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 1 year experience of working as a HGV Driver / Class 2 Driver
  • Full UK Driving Licence, CPC and Tacho with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Team player who is also capable of working on your own
  • Excellent time-management
  • Good inter-personal and organisational skills
  • Possession of Hi Vis vest and Steel toe cap safety boots
