We are working with the Housing Asset Management team of a London Borough. They now seek 3 x Building Surveyors / Maintenance Surveyors / Disrepair Surveyors as follows:
- Working on a day rate of £320 for a minimum of 6 months (with a likely rolling extension thereafter)
- Acting as a lead professional in all aspects of repairs and maintenance across the borough's housing portfolio
- Condition Surveys
- Managing response repairs, cyclical maintenance and major works projects, ensuring all works come in on time and to budget
- Overseeing appointed contractors, including H&S compliance
- Liaison with internal stakeholders as well as tenants/residents in relation to project updates and information
You must drive and carry insurance for business use on your vehicle. The suitable Building Surveyor/Maintenance Surveyor will come from a residential projects background and be familiar working within local authority on social housing schemes.
