At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for a HR Business Advisor to join our people operations team supporting our East Leake works site. As our HR Business Advisor, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our business by providing comprehensive HR support to our internal stakeholders, including line-managers and colleagues in a plant/manufacturing environment. We are aiming to create a values-led culture where our people are trusted, empowered and are actively encouraged to collaborate. You will be key to supporting, and challenging our teams, in the pursuit of our ambition of creating a high-performance, customer centric culture. This role will be based on-site with 4 days being in our plant and 1 day in our Head Office.
What we’re looking for:
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, with the ability to challenge and guide on procedures
- Ability to deliver tasks and projects on time, managing high workload and conflicting priorities
- Identify potential risks and opportunities and providing effective HR business advice/support
- Previous experience in working in a similar role within a manufacturing/plant environment desired
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be proactive, enjoy change and have a can-do attitude
- A desire to build a career in HR
- Qualified CIPD level 5, or willingness to work towards

- Providing extensive and complete HR support to all stakeholders
- Building strong relationships across the business
- Supporting with complex employee relations cases in a unionised environment
- Guide managers through our policies and procedures
- Influencing cultural change within the group
- Support career development and succession planning efforts within the organisation
- Signpost and support on our rewards and recognition offer
- Supporting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees
- Other ad hoc HR duties that may be required
