We are seeking a diligent and technically skilled Production Operator (Machinist) to join an established production team at a manufacturing business near Huddersfield.

The client is a large organisation based near Huddersfield, who are specialist manufacturers. They are an International brand and have a strong presence at their manufacturing facility on the Wakefield / Huddersfield border. They are well known for their commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.

As a Production Operator (Machinist) you will:

  • Operate machinery and equipment according to prescribed procedures.
  • Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
  • Ensure production quotas are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
