This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional with strong leadership abilities to step into a dynamic role that spans payroll, benefits administration, HR support, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for delivering efficient payroll, benefits, and HR administrative services across multiple regions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Oversee HR systems and manage relationships with payroll vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support general ledger reporting and address any payroll-related accounting discrepancies.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of payroll and HR operations.
  • Manage onboarding processes, handle HR transactions, and oversee company fleet administration.
  • Actively contribute to both global and local HR initiatives, including compliance and project-based work.

Skills & Experience:

  • Solid experience in UK payroll processing with a strong understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams within a shared services or HR/payroll environment.
  • Familiarity with European payroll operations is a plus.
  • Preferred experience in general ledger reconciliation and payroll-related accounting.
  • Proficient in HR/payroll systems; experience with Workday and Resourcelink is highly advantageous.
  • Proven background in managing relationships with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong overall IT proficiency.
  • Experience driving change and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
