An opportunity in the central Business Planning team to lead the forecasting of key KPIs across the DTC EMEA e-commerce business. The role is varied and will include analysis, planning, reporting and presenting to multiple stakeholders in the business.
- Thorough forecasting from daily to annual levels across key retail and e-commerce KPIs, primarily revenue and gross margin, traffic & conversion, AOV & AUR, return & discount rates.
- Daily demand forecasting for fulfilment of order, unit and return volumes.
- Assemble and analyse data impacting the sales forecast, with an understanding of seasonal and marketing variations in trade throughout the year.
- Analyse and challenge the country and marketing performance.
- Probe areas of concern and identify paths to improvement.
- Make high level commercial suggestions and interpret trends and strategy into the forecast.
- Lead trade conversations with senior stakeholders in the business and drive e-commerce KPI decision making.
- Ability to move beyond analytical reporting and bring figures to life descriptively.
- Engage key stakeholders, identify relevant insights, and create meaningful actions from data.
- Manage and support new projects, initiatives and developments to gain an understanding of their impact on the business.
- Manage data governance & reporting accuracy.
- Proactively identify opportunities where analytics can benefit the business.
- Team player within business planning, partnering with B&M team on deliverables & processes to support wider business needs.
- Manage & develop business planning assistant.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience within E-commerce or commercial planning role.
- Thorough understanding of retail KPIs & relationships.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to analyse and review large amounts of data in Excel, advanced level Excel essential.
