An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solar PV Site Manager to join a forward-thinking and fast-growing renewable energy contractor. This role involves leading the installation, construction, and commissioning of Solar PV and LED systems on projects across the UK. You will be managing site operations from start to finish, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained throughout. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations on-site across multiple locations
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure health & safety compliance and conduct regular audits
- Lead toolbox talks and maintain safe systems of work
- Monitor and report on progress, cost control, and resource allocation
- Ensure installation work meets quality, regulatory, and environmental standards
- Resolve on-site issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain documentation and manage project schedules
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior stakeholders
- Support workflow optimisation and process improvements
Requirements:
Essential:
- SMSTS Certificate
- IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent
- First Aid Certificate (EFAW or FAW)
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Solar PV installation or project experience
- Electrical trade background or qualifications
- Previous experience in renewable energy construction projects
- Familiarity with project management software

Schedule:
Monday to Friday (core hours). Occasional weekend work may be required. Overtime opportunities available.
This role will require travel to various sites across the UK. You must be confident working in construction environments and comfortable managing both the technical and people elements of a project. Hybrid working may be available depending on project requirements.
