Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage all site construction activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and according to the project plan and building regulations.
- Assist the Contracts Manager with all details of the project, consistently reporting progress and any issues that may arise.
- Prepare delivery programmes, including labour resources, material requirements, timescales, design inputs and commissioning.
- Maintain and promote Health and Safety policies in accordance with legislation, conducting regular risk assessments and site inspections as necessary.
- Co-ordinate sub-contractors and staff, ensuring the project runs as per the specifications and schedules. Conduct regular site meetings to monitor and manage progress and resolve issues.
- Monitor quality consistently throughout the project, ensuring all work is completed to standards, client expectations and building specifications.
- Maintain and provide accurate reports of project progress, health and safety and variations to plans as necessary.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential risks or issues on site efficiently to minimise project delays.
- Adopt and promote a safety-first culture, ensuring all work carried out by yourself and others complies with company standards and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- CSCS Card (Desirable)
- First Aid at Work
- Strong technical understanding of the construction industry, including the processes, materials, methods and building regulations and standards.
- Proficient in IT.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify potential risks to the project.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
