We are recruiting for a Customer Safety Manager (Standards), who will play a key role in keeping our customers safe when they stay in our hotels. As our Customer Safety Manager, you’ll be working with partners and internal teams to make sure safety standards are met and risks are properly managed. You’ll lead on our destination and hotel safety intelligence, regulatory and technical proposition and work across the team to make informed decisions on the control and mitigation of potential risks.

Your expertise in hygiene, sanitation, and infection control will be central to developing and improving our safety programmes, and you’ll review safety data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to reduce risks. You’ll work closely with other Safety and Operations Managers to build a strong network of intelligence and performance in support of providing targeted and nuanced solutions to existing and emerging risks.

You’ll be responsible for monitoring safety regulations and making sure our policies stay up to date, and advising the business to ensure any major risks are flagged without delay. You’ll also help train internal teams and partners, making sure safety knowledge is shared and understood, and you’ll maintain and update safety materials so teams have clear guidance on managing safety.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • You will have significant experience in tour operations and/or hygiene management, with appropriate recognised qualifications.
  • Competency and qualification in health, safety and hygiene subjects is essential, with a particular strength on hygiene, sanitation and infection control.
  • You’ll have a strong track record in managing relationships with partners and external agencies, experience in managing compliance or quality control programmes, be a competent auditor and ideally, experience of managing audit providers.
