The Role
As an Ocean Export Freight Forwarder you will be responsible for managing international ocean freight shipments and ensuring seamless export operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling ocean export bookings and liaising with shipping lines and carriers
- Preparing and verifying export documentation, including bills of lading, customs entries, and invoices
- Tracking shipments and providing regular status updates to customers
- Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies
- Coordinating with overseas agents, suppliers, and internal departments
- Managing and resolving shipping or customs-related issues efficiently
