Job Summary
To support the Freight Supervisor to ensure the smooth flow of goods outbound of the Stone Warehouse. Liaise with carriers to ensure deliveries are arranged and delivered on time. Work alongside our Customer Services team to ensure all requests/queries are dealt with effectively.
Key accountabilities for the Transport Administrator will be, but not limited to:
- Outbound flow of goods
- Support Freight Supervisor in ensuring shipment of goods in line with customer requirements.
- Ensure appropriate documentation accompanies all deliveries
- Maintain Delivery report to continuously monitor delivery performance
- Liaise with pallet/parcel carriers to ensure smooth transition of orders
- Communicate delays and issues to Customer Services
- Manage priorities with Warehouse to ensure timely despatch of customer orders
- Manage Business Expectations
- Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with suppliers and internal and external customers
- Provide daily feedback on expectations and achievements
- Report on Customer issues
- Identify opportunities for improvement in service, cost and quality.

- Take responsibility for Freight Operations in Freight Supervisors absence
- Support Freight Supervisor in improving Customer Experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 years experience in the above or a similar role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in using SAP
- Ability to adapt to new ideas and learn quickly.
- To have an expectation of high standards in the working environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritise business requirements
- Understands and demonstrates the culture and values of the business.
