Can you bring your experience to our sales team at ASSA ABLOY? Join our team based in Sheffield and enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of. This is a fully remote role within the UK; however, occasional travel to the Sheffield office will be required.

As the Business Development Manager, you will develop the Machine Protection Door business within the UK and ensure UK Sales Strategy is met, and that this is executed in accordance with the targets set and defined within the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Business Plan and Commission Schedules, whilst protecting the best interests of the company and providing good customer service at all times. You would also:

  • Increase Machine Protection door specifications, orders, and overall company profitability.
  • Identify and develop quality project opportunities while sharing insights across ASSA ABLOY companies.
  • Build strong relationships with Integrators and Line Builders to drive business growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, project documentation, and market intelligence.
  • Boost brand awareness through targeted marketing campaigns and meet/exceed sales KPIs.

The skills and experience you need:

  • Has strong knowledge and background in machine protection and/or safety automation.
  • Has excellent numerical skills for cost calculations, pricing assessments, and data analysis.
  • Has proven experience in a sales-driven, customer-focused environment with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Is a self-motivated team player with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project coordination, with the ability to create presentations and analyse specifications.
