The Opportunity

We are currently sourcing multiple scaffolders to assist with on site works in the Central Belt. The candidate must have the ability to erect, dismantle and alter scaffold as part of a scaffolding team.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Scaffolder must be able to demonstrate and have knowledge of:
  • Statutory regulations and safety requirements (including SG4) relating to the erection and dismantling of simple scaffolds.
  • The regulations governing inspection of scaffolds.
  • Make adequate provision for the safety of themselves, the workforce, the public affected by scaffolding work, and future users of the scaffold structure by working to the relevant British and European Standards, NASC guidance and statutory regulations.
  • Install anchor ties and other specialist fixings to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Testing and reporting in accordance with TG4.
  • Inspect Basic scaffolds prior to handover.

  • Layher/Cuplock/Haki/Plettac system (Desirable)
