Location: Stroud

Our client operates a small production facility situated just outside Stroud, where they manufacture and bottle soft drinks in the picturesque Cotswolds. With a dedicated team of approximately 40 employees, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality premium products.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Engineer, your primary focus will be to minimize line downtime through proactive planned preventative maintenance and swift resolution of any arising issues. Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role, especially in a sometimes pressured environment.

Requirements:

  • Fault finding on electrical systems
  • Knowledge of PLCs
  • Carrying out routine PPMs – lubrication, changing seals, meter readings, replacing worn bearings, conveyor components etc
  • Computer literate – Excel/Word
  • Experience of a CMMS and stores stock system
  • Mechanical and pneumatic fault finding
  • Diagnosing faults with 3ph electric motors and pumps
  • Some basic electrical knowledge/fault finding experience
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Word
