We are seeking an expert in UK Academic Quality to join the Internal Audit Department and assist in global internal audits. The position would report directly to the Head of Group – Internal Audit.
The suitable candidate will have strong experience in UK Academic Quality of at least 5 years. This is a full-time role and would involve working from the office.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Should have experience related to UK Academic Quality, not necessarily internal audit in general.
- Experience in internal audit is preferred but not mandatory.
- Would be required to understand UK Academic Quality standards completely.
- Would evaluate and assess whether GBS UK is meeting all Academic Quality standards.
- Would be involved in internal audits of GBS UK Academics.
- Would be responsible for reviewing the quality of academics and end-to-end processes of the academics department.
- Would highlight gaps and problems identified and discuss with the UK Academics department.
- Would give suggestions for improvement and recommendations and discuss with the UK Academics department.
- Would assist in drafting audit reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and enhance processes.
- Would report directly to the Head of Group – Internal Audit in India (Noida).
- Would also conduct global audits of the Academic department in other locations and entities of the GEDU Global group (which is in 12+ countries and expanding) to ensure high academic standards are maintained at par with UK standards.
- Highlight gaps and suggest process improvements if required.
- To assist in other areas of Internal Audit of UK entities as and when required.
- Support the audit team in planning, executing, and concluding audit engagements.
- Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Should have excellent communication skills as this role involves interacting with people in 12+ countries.
- Should be open to occasional travel to other countries, especially to India, as the rest of the team is based there.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements of the education industry and the higher education industry and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience in UK Academic Quality of 5 years.
- Any candidate with a suitable degree and appropriate experience would be considered.
- Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Should have excellent communication skills as this role involves interacting with people in 12+ countries.
- Should be open to occasional travel to other countries, especially India, as the rest of the team is based there.
