We are currently looking to engage with an Oracle DBA on a large organisation project within the public sector.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience managing Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c), including setup, updates, and security.
- Skilled in improving database speed and handling backups and recovery using RMAN.
- Knowledge of high availability tools like Data Guard, RAC, and ASM for keeping systems running smoothly.
- Can write scripts (PL/SQL, Shell) and work well in Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with cloud databases (Oracle Cloud, AWS), monitoring tools, and handling database moves and upgrades.
