The Intelligence Analyst, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will develop high-quality and timely analysis on developments, events, incidents, and trends that may impact the safety and/or security of the customer's corporate assets in the region including civil unrest, crime, environmental hazards, and terrorism. This position may be based in London, Berlin, or Paris.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Monitor, detect, analyze, and advise the client on regional adverse conditions, including civil unrest, crime, environmental hazards, and terrorism.
  • Plan, research, and write regular analytical reports delivering actionable insights and provide high-quality and value-driven results.
  • Actively monitor regional security incidents to determine potential impact and maintain an awareness of regional strategic trends.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data with a strong understanding and application of analytical techniques.
  • Conduct strategic analysis on large data sets, including metrics, physical security trends, aggregate incidents, and crime statistics.
  • Identify gaps in current analysis products and develop new solutions, methodologies, and products to help improve reporting, especially in data-driven analysis.
  • Support business continuity, crisis, and security management teams during incidents and crises.
  • Support colleagues if needed, including conducting peer reviews.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher with five years of professional intelligence experience in relevant sector including government and/or law enforcement.
  • Bi-lingual skills; English and secondary language.
  • Able to produce strategic intelligence reports, threat assessments, and tailored analysis.
  • Effective understanding of principal geopolitical risks and how they affect the private sector.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision.
  • Able to collect, organize, and analyze complex data with a strong understanding and application of analytical techniques.
  • Serve as an effective team member.
  • Able to develop strong relationships within a complex environment and across multiple time zones.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
  • Frequent sitting.
  • May be required to occasionally work after hours.
