Hi-Tech Property Services Ltd are seeking an Estimator/Surveyor to work from our Head Office in Fareham thanks to sustained growth within the business. The successful candidate will work as part of an established team in our Estimating department. You will largely be involved with surveying, valuations, and costing proposals on a huge range of construction work. We offer all services under one roof, meaning there is no limit to the possible work you could be quoting for. You will also be working with other departments at Hi-Tech Property Services Ltd to deliver services to our commercial clients in a timely and professional manner. The role requires that you travel to sites independently, meaning the right candidate will need a full UK Driving Licence, as well as the ability to work from your own initiative and carry yourself professionally while doing so. The required skills for this role are: – A methodical approach to work – Excellent Microsoft office suite skills, specifically Excel – Good communication skills – Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines – Good team working ethic – Full UK Driving Licence Operating for over 20 years with an established customer base Hi-Tech Property Services is a general building contractor. We employ a variety of around 100 trades people, with skillsets ranging from general builders, joiners and multi-trades to electricians, plumbers and carpenters and roofers, all producing work to the highest standards. We operate largely within the publican and hospitality sector, though we have a history of working on other large commercial buildings such as schools and heritage sites. As a business we are proud to have established an enviable track record on working in conservation and historic building schemes, and we are also a registered RICS practice through our professional services offering. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, dealing with a diverse portfolio of work and contribute to the further success of the business. A successful candidate will have suitable academic qualifications e.g. (HNC/Degree in the Built Environment) or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in: – Site surveys and measures – Preparation and submission of tender proposals – Accurate production and management of estimates, including subcontractor enquiries – Knowledge of BCIS or SPONS pricing methodology
