Lead Cloud Engineer

Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our engineering team to help design & build our cloud platform from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone looking for a greenfield opportunity working on cutting-edge solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
Strong experience designing, building, and supporting infrastructure in cloud environments.
Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts and patterns, including routing, private connectivity, and security controls best practices.
Solid experience with container orchestration systems and how to manage workloads at scale.
Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools and practices.
Comfortable writing automation, configuration, and tooling to simplify operations and reduce manual effort.
Knowledgeable about observability tools & best practices.
Ability to collaborate across teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with multi-cloud and/or hybrid deployments.
Knowledge of optimising and managing large-scale data processing frameworks (Eg. Spark, Trino, or similar)
Experience optimizing cloud costs/spend.
Experience setting up SRE, self-service, and incident-management processes.
