Shift Engineering Manager

My client, a leader in the food manufacturing space are looking to hire their next Shift Engineering Manager. The individual will lead, organise and develop the Shift Engineering Team, to ensure daily preventative maintenance activities are completed to a high standard, breakdowns are resolved quickly and efficiently and to take the lead on more complex maintenance tasks, ensuring required parts are available and be responsible for a detailed handover to the next shift team.

A key part of the role will be supporting the Shift Operations Management teams providing technical information to Production to ensure Engineering work is correctly prioritised and decisions are based upon sound technical information.

To be successful, you will need to use your time served in a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering discipline and your excellent knowledge of planned maintenance systems.

Other qualifications include a detailed knowledge of excel and other developing MS office products, a manufacturing background and the experience of leading teams.
