LOCATION- Sheffield

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £35,000 to £45,000 + commission + car

OTE – £50,000-£60,000

Premier Engineering is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a leading company specialising in medical devices based in Sheffield . This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative healthcare technology, providing technical sales support and developing relationships within the medical sector.

The Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Background in technical sales , preferably within medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences
• A qualification in Engineering, Biomedical Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of medical technology or clinical applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly
• Comfortable presenting to healthcare professionals and decision-makers
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region

The Technical Sales Engineer role will involve:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare clients, hospitals, and medical facilities
• Providing technical guidance and product demonstrations to clinical staff
• Identifying new business opportunities and managing existing accounts
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
• Preparing and delivering quotations, presentations, and proposals
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, products, and competitor activity
• Meeting and exceeding sales KPIs
