We are seeking a Qualified Financial Accountant to join our clients finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in handling month-end activities, supporting new projects, and providing detailed financial analysis.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct month-end activities including journal entries, report running, and KPI data analysis.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable reports.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the new AR Portal Project.
- Provide operational data for decision-making processes.
- Review invoices, suppliers, payments, and banking transactions.
- Execute weekly BACS runs.
- Develop and enhance process documentation.
- Assist with ad-hoc activities and projects within the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Finance or numerate degree, and an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar financial accounting role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Good negotiation skills and effective communication abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general PC literacy.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
