Your new role:
As Group Finance Director, you shall manage the complex financial operations within a multi-site manufacturing environment. A pivotal role in the company’s growth and restructuring journey, this position will shape the future of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the financial strategy for the organisation, working closely with the Executive Team to shape the company's vision, objectives, and long-term financial planning.
- Turnaround and Transformation: Take ownership of the financial aspects of the turnaround plan, driving performance improvements, cost efficiency initiatives, and profitability across multiple sites.
- Financial Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of financials across various business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting for the Board and Private Equity investors.
- Private Equity Expertise: Work closely with private equity partners, managing financial reporting, performance metrics, and board-level presentations. Provide strategic insight to optimise value creation within the portfolio.
- Operational Finance Leadership: Manage the finance teams across various locations, ensuring robust processes are in place for effective budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, private equity backers, auditors, and external advisors.
- M&A and Restructuring: Lead financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities, ensuring financial due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition performance management.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all financial operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with operational leaders to provide financial insight that drives decision-making and operational efficiency across multi-site operations.
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in turnaround strategies, financial consolidation, and working with private equity-backed organisations. With strong leadership and team management skills, you shall have a proven track record which has shown your ability to inspire and develop high-performing finance teams. Having the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and change-oriented environment is essential, you shall have a strong technical background and analytical mind, with strong problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for detail. Results-driven, with the ability to drive financial performance you shall have the skills and acumen to drive performance whilst delivering value to stakeholders. An influencer you shall have the skills and professional approach to drive financial accountability across a business to influence business results. Formally qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA (QBE is also considered) you will have solid experience within the manufacturing arena.
