We’re looking for a Senior Support Worker with a strong background in supporting children and young people in residential or supported living settings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership role, is committed to safeguarding, and wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of support workers
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding

  • Work closely with families, social workers, and external agencies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children and young people
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a senior or leadership role (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and behavioural support
  • PMVA/MAPA/CPI trained (or willing to complete training)
  • A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach
