Technical Coordinator

About the Role:

We’re delighted to be recruiting for a talented Technical Coordinator on behalf of a well-regarded residential developer based in North Kent. This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, including both traditional housing schemes and mid-rise apartment developments.

Working closely with the Senior Technical Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from a technical perspective supporting design coordination, liaising with consultants, and ensuring compliance at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the technical delivery of residential developments, ensuring seamless planning, design, and construction processes.
• Work alongside the Senior Technical Manager to track project progress and tackle technical challenges as they arise.
• Liaise with consultants, engineers, and internal teams to ensure technical requirements are met and building regulations are adhered to.
• Review and manage technical documentation, drawings, and specifications, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical input and support across all phases of the development lifecycle from pre-construction to handover.
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and budget-related technical matters where required.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator within the residential construction industry.
• A strong understanding of construction processes, design coordination, and industry regulations.
• The ability to manage multiple projects effectively while working to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail.
• A relevant qualification or degree in a construction or technical discipline.
• Experience working on both housing schemes and mid-rise apartment projects (desirable).
