Saint Luke\’s, an award-winning music and arts events venue, is seeking a General Manager who can effectively lead and inspire our team to deliver exceptional experiences.
You will work closely with company stakeholders to drive the business towards long-term profitability. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the venue operates at its highest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Financial Success: Lead all revenue-generating areas with a focus on maximizing and maintaining strong profitability and standards.
- Collaborate for Profit: Partner with the music booking and events sales teams to boost venue occupancy and profitability.
- Stay Market-Savvy: Keep up with trends, competitor activity, and market insights to keep the venue competitive and relevant.
- Coordinate Events & Operations: Oversee the event schedule and work closely with operations to ensure smooth, efficient execution from planning to post-event wrap-up.
- Support Marketing & Ticketing: Work with marketing and ticketing teams to grow visibility and engagement.
- Build a Great Culture: Champion a positive, inclusive workplace that supports staff well-being and encourages top performance.
- Nurture Key Relationships: Build strong ties with promoters, clients, suppliers, and partners to drive repeat business and attract new opportunities.
- Deliver Great Customer Experience: Ensure all communication is prompt, professional, and customer-focused to build loyalty and long-term relationships.

- Comprehensive understanding of business finance, enabling you to maximize sales and surpass key performance indicators (KPIs).

- A love for food, beverages, customer service, and, above all, people.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating astute business acumen and self-motivation.
- Previous experience as General Manager or Deputy General Manager within a customer service-focused hospitality and events environment.
Hours and Work Life
- £Salary DoE. £35-40k per annum + tips/svc + commission
- We aim for a 4-day work week; however, this may vary depending on business needs.
- 48-hour p/w contract; however, once up to speed, 40-45hrs is achievable.
