We have an excellent opportunity for a Chartered, or 2-year PQE, Building Surveyor to join an expanding company that can offer you first class training and the chance to progress. The vacancies are within our recently established Central London office and you will assist the team in expanding the office presence by providing a variety of services for our residential and commercial clients.
The successful candidate will be carrying out the following:
- Conduct building surveys, site inspections and asset management surveys.
- Undertake pre-acquisition and technical due diligence surveys.
- Assist and manage construction contracts ranging from £50,000-5,000,000+.
- Liaise with our architectural department, organising documents for tender, produce specification of works, advising on appointment of contractors and acting as Contract Administrator.
- Assess the condition of existing buildings, identify and analyse defects, produce reports highlighting issues and providing remedial advice.
- Create schedules of conditions and PPM schedules.
- Preparation and negotiation of dilapidations claims.
- Dealing with Party Wall procedures.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
