Job Title: Housekeeper Location:Adelaide House, 24 Adelaide Park, Belfast, BT9 6FX Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour Hours:20 hours per week (worked flexibly as per rota) Responsible to: The Head of Home Main function: To provide cleaning and tidying services throughout the Home to the required standards and rules of the Home and within the Christian ethos of the Council for Social Witness Background information:Adelaide House is one of 6 homes for older people run by the Council for Social Witness (Older People Services) and is situated at 24 Adelaide Park, Belfast BT9 6FX. The Home accommodates 45 residents who have a variety of physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs and varying levels of dependency. CRITERIA 1. QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE Essential Evidence an understanding of and respect for the needs of older people; Awareness of health and safety practices within a working and residential environment. 5. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES Essential Willingness to work additional hours to meet the requirements of the Home; Must be willing to behave in a manner which respects the Christian ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland In order to apply for this position, you need to complete an application for and monitoring form which are available for download at or can be requested by emailing or phoning .
