We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee internals and externals on a residential development in Hertfordshire. The scheme includes 100 houses and 30 flats, constructed using a combination of traditional build and timber frame methods. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on a well-structured project with a reputable residential developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate internal and external works across the site
- Lead subcontractor teams to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery
- Maintain strong health & safety standards and site organisation
- Monitor build quality, ensuring snag-free completions
- Liaise with the project team, consultants, and stakeholders to keep the programme on track
- Report on progress, challenges, and key site updates regularly
Requirements:
- Solid experience with a residential developer on volume housing schemes
- Proven ability to manage both internals and externals from frame to finish
- Knowledge of traditional and timber frame construction
- Valid Black CSCS card (essential)
- SMSTS and First Aid certificates
