Looking for an experienced Operational Risk Analyst. Ideal candidates will have a background in risk, compliance, or internal audit within industries like commodities, shipping, or bunkerage. Expertise in risk management frameworks is essential.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementing and supporting the Operational Risk framework.
- Providing operational risk insights and industry best practices.
- Acting as a deputy for the Operational Risk Manager.
- Reviewing and improving policies to enhance risk awareness.
- Investigating incidents and documenting improvement suggestions.
- Developing and improving risk controls.
- Preparing and presenting risk reports.
- Ensuring system changes align with risk management frameworks.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in operational risk roles, preferably in commodity trading or bunkering.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle complex, undefined information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships.
- Management experience to lead and develop team members.
- Knowledge of risk control processes and commodity trading operations.
- IT skills, experience with ETRM systems, and BPMN process mapping.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred: ACA/ACCA/CIMA or FRM/ERP/CFA.
