Want to make the move into SaaS / Technology sales? Looking for a hybrid role with more flexibility? Want to take home 3-6K in commission every month? If you answered “yes” to any of the above, then this could be something of interest.
This SaaS company based in the Southwest is on a mission to advise organisations across the UK and help them secure & win public sector contracts – which can be incredibly lucrative! Their cutting-edge platform gives businesses valuable insight into when public sector contracts are available to go out to tender, giving their users a real competitive advantage. Their growth over the last 2 years has been over 100% and as such, they’re in a position where they’re looking to grow their SDR team.
This is a hybrid sales role – with 2 days required in the office in Bath & 3 days working from home.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for booking in demos & meetings for the business development team. Typical responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting potential new customers – this will include cold calling (preferred activity!) but will be supplemented with strategic LinkedIn & Email work.
- Working with a BDM – you’ll be working closely with the BDM team to ensure that the most is made from every opportunity.
- Working towards targets - you’ll be working towards regular activity targets (call time, calls made etc).
What do you need?
- Curiosity – you’ll be naturally inquisitive and eager to learn and understand.
- Listening – the ability to listen attentively to your prospects needs, challenges and requirements.
- Over Achievement – ideally in your previous sales role, but just general evidence of over-achievement throughout your life & career to date.
What’s in it for you?
- Earning Potential – A base salary of up to £24K depending on experience with an exceptional commission structure where you will earn up to 30% of the revenue you generate. The top performing BDM is currently clearing £6k per month in commission alone.
- Salary Increase - If you hit your target for 3 months consistently, your base salary will increase by 1k every quarter!
- Progression – opportunity to move into a BDM position in under 12 months. Other options to move into leadership or management further down the line.
- Hybrid Working – initially you’ll be required to be in the office 2 days per week. However, after your probation this will reduce to 1 day per week – giving you a lot of flexibility. You’ll be measured by your results, not where you do the job.
