We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Product Owner to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will drive digital initiatives to help enable Net Zero by delivering digital technologies that support our capital delivery teams in optimising energy generation, transmission, and distribution. You will oversee the lifecycle of digital products that contribute to making Net Zero a reality. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from discovery and product design to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams and industry experts to deliver innovative solutions that address emerging customer needs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and communicate progress against PI objectives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Translate technical information into language that is accessible to everyone.
- Act as the conduit between end users and technical teams, translating business requirements into user stories for the scrum team.
- Contribute to the vision for the team's product, maintain a prioritised backlog and product roadmap, and stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Oversee all stages of product creation, including design and development, working closely with the Product Manager to ensure alignment with the product strategy.
- Lead scoping, requirements definition, and priority setting while managing requirements through the entire delivery and operational lifecycle.
- Ensure collaborative efforts to meet committed sprint goals, participate in team ceremonies, and promote continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How:
You will have significant experience in delivering digital products in a fast-paced agile delivery environment and possess a passion for delivering an excellent user experience. Experience of Project Controls software i.e. Primavera P6, Riskonnect Active Risk Manager and/or Safran Risk would be advantageous.
