Retail Team Leader (Brand Lead)

Role

As a Brand Lead you are an ambassador for our brand, delivering an amazing customer experience in store and supporting the management team to motivate and lead the associate team to exceed store targets.

Responsibilities

  • Use local knowledge and sales expertise to deliver the ultimate brand experience.
  • Become an expert in our style choices and bring these to life for our consumers.
  • Confidently make important decisions for the best customer experience, including handling consumer issues in store.
  • Be a brand ambassador by role‑modeling our behaviours, values, and style.
  • Be a positive role model, building trust through collaboration and open communication.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and business understanding.
  • Take pride in store appearance and embrace the Superdry look, ensuring the store looks amazing.
  • Own delivery of business objectives set by the Store Leader, coaching the team to meet retail standards and service expectations.
  • Support key compliance tasks, including loss prevention and health and safety.
  • Exceed expectations and drive an attitude of continuous improvement in the wider team.
  • Embrace the Superdry culture and share it with colleagues.
  • Maintain commercial awareness of the store, understand KPIs, and bring fresh ideas to the leadership team to drive performance.

  • Support day‑to‑day supervision of the team.

  • Lead the team, with managers, to hit store targets and ensure the store is a great place to work.
  • Coordinate the team across operational tasks, guiding them with operational expertise.
  • Provide timely feedback to associates, recognising success and challenging poor performance.
  • Contribute to the business talent and formal performance review processes.
