Our Delivery Leads help the team to continuously make progress on their objectives and projects by guiding, coaching and motivating, to increase productivity, improve delivery and implement solutions to roll out to wider IT functions and the wider business. As a Delivery Lead you will lead Product Team processes and ceremonies, with responsibility for ensuring development objectives and tasks are clearly understood and communicated, making sure everyone on the team understands the task/project goals and scope, so the right questions are asked of key stakeholders.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:
- Assisting the Product Owner in tracking velocity and predictability of sprints to understand if milestone and timeline plans are on track or at risk
- Helping the team continuously make progress on the Team objectives/projects by making sure the team is working on the right tasks and protecting their time
- Helping to remove obstacles to the developers’ progress
- Facilitating Agile events and ceremonies. This will include retrospectives, daily stand-ups, amongst others agreed with the Product Owner.
- Prepare reporting on the progress and success of ongoing team development objectives
- Own ongoing development board areas, allowing clear and consistent task management
- Ensure all guiding principles agreed by the development team are adhered to in day to day activity
- Communicating accurate priority on backlog development tickets, ensuring developers are picking-up tasks in the correct order
A Few Things About You:
- Previous experience in a delivery role within an Agile environment or as a Business Analyst within an Agile environment
- Proactive and tenacious ‘can do’ attitude to unblock issues and ensure progress
- Organised approach, allowing a good working knowledge of the teams current objectives
- Leadership capabilities that drives team engagement and produces highly engaged development teams
- Excellent communication skills with a strong team mind set, enabling clear and open team discussion/ownership
- Relevant agile/scrum certification would be advantageous but not required
