One of our multinational Plc clients is looking for a Change Impact and Business Readiness Lead to support a major SAP S4 Hana implementation.
Role Purpose: The Change Impact and Business Readiness Lead is responsible for leading and managing the change impact assessment and business readiness activities across the ERP programme. The role ensures that affected business areas are prepared, equipped, and supported to adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working introduced by the ERP implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of change impact assessments to identify and understand the effects of the ERP implementation on business processes, roles, and systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, and the change management team to validate and refine impact assessments.
- Develop and maintain a business readiness framework and checklist tailored to the ERP programme’s lifecycle and deployment waves.
- Coordinate business readiness activities including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and transition planning.
- Assess and report on business unit readiness and provide recommendations for risk mitigation where gaps are identified.
- Support the development of role-based training plans in partnership with the training team.
- Establish KPIs and success criteria for business readiness, tracking progress and escalating issues where necessary.
- Facilitate readiness workshops, walk-throughs, and working sessions with impacted business areas.
- Contribute to the development of business continuity plans during transition and cutover phases.
- Ensure that business readiness deliverables are aligned with the programme’s milestones and go-live schedule.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in change management, business readiness, or organisational change roles within large-scale ERP programmes (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business process transformation.
- Experience conducting change impact assessments and readiness planning across multiple business units.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation.
- Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, APMG).
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
- Experience in a regulated or complex multi-site organisation.
This is an initial 6-12 month contract outside IR35, with 2-3 days a week in the London office.
