This is a great opportunity for an Account Director with a strong background in corporate and financial communications, to join a team of exemplary strategic advisers. You will have in depth experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and disposals, as well as other special situations such as restructures, shareholder activism and litigations. There is a huge learning opportunity too, as the senior team have an exceptional track record handling communications in high stakes situations for clients across all industries. They see themselves as very much management consultants with an expertise in reputation management. Generate ideas and communications strategies to a present to C-Suite level executives with confidence Play an active role in supporting new business activity, developing and presenting new business proposals Proactively network with contacts and potential clients; Expand existing accounts whilst maintaining a network of relationships within the marketplace You will currently be at least Account Director level or equivalent in agency, or a Comms Manager in an inhouse function. A strong knowledge of financial communication including M&A and special sits Creative, ambitious, and confident enough to deal with client matters at all levels Adept at maintaining client service while juggling multiple demands Experience in proactive new business development – both in terms of developing credentials and proposals, as well as targeting potential clients and attending networking events 5 years + PR agency experience, or in an in-house financial and corporate communications role ~ a thirst for news and current affairs ~ We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
