We are working with our client who offer bespoke turnkey solutions that meet customers' manufacturing demands, facilitating the process with precision engineering and outstanding attention to detail. The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the organisation by providing the necessary information for designing, manufacturing, and installing compliant, fit-for-purpose products. Working with the project team on all activities within the business, ensuring each customer order is managed from acceptance to delivery.
This position would suit an engineering graduate, specifically around mechanical and electrical aspects with some demonstrable work experience, ideally within the construction industry; however, experience within other industries will also be considered. You will collaborate across various departments, demonstrating excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to be flexible and adaptable. Security clearance will be required.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and contractors to align schedules.
- Track project progress and report any deviations from the plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project documents (drawings, specifications).
- Prepare status reports and project updates for stakeholders.
- Organise and control versioning of technical documents.
- Act as the point of contact between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure smooth communication flow between mechanical and electrical disciplines.
- Assist in ordering and tracking the delivery of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement.
