Key Tasks
- Maintenance & Repairs: Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and address reactive repairs on the Building Management System (BMS).
- System Monitoring: Continuously monitor BMS operations and alarms to ensure optimal performance.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical contact for clients and site staff, ensuring all tasks meet client expectations and comply with legislative standards.
- Environmental Control: Ensure building environmental controls meet specified requirements and tolerances.
- Diagnostics & Optimization: Perform system checks and diagnostics to confirm systems are operating efficiently.
- Change Management: Implement and manage change control processes for documentation, software, and hardware.
- Communication: Develop effective methods for communicating system changes to clients and internal teams.
- Alarm Protocols: Review and enhance alarm management protocols to improve system responsiveness.
- Emergency Coordination: Collaborate with site and client management during emergency operations or procedures.
- Equipment Oversight: Inspect, test, maintain, modify, and troubleshoot equipment and services.
- Fault Investigation: Investigate, diagnose, and rectify faults in mechanical and electrical distribution systems.
- Plant Operations: Authorize and perform start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures for service plant and equipment.
- Compliance: Consult with Engineering Leaders on operational, regulatory, and statutory compliance matters.
- Audits: Conduct technical and quality audits to ensure assets and operations comply with standards.
- System Enhancements: Identify and implement system enhancements to improve resilience and performance.
- Meetings: Participate in operational and technical meetings as required.
- Data Analysis: Maintain, review, and report analytical data from the site's Fault Detection Diagnostic system.
- Smart Systems Maintenance: Maintain the building's smart systems and IoT devices, including MQTT and API integrations.
