We are recruiting on behalf of our client, the UK's premier supplier of specialised graphics to Retail, Exhibitions, Events, Museums, and Visitor Attractions. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. The company is known for delivering high-quality, custom solutions, and fostering a collaborative team culture that enables everyone to reach their potential.
About the Role
Our client is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help expand their business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales, manage key client relationships, and focus on new business development. The position is based in Manchester, with an expectation of 2 office visits per week. You will work closely with the Sales Director to grow sales and develop strategies to increase revenue across the UK and Europe. In addition to new business development, you will also manage allocated accounts and build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving Sales within the large format print graphics sector, specifically in retail, museum, and event solutions.
- Performing outbound sales calls to both warm and cold prospects, focusing on new business development.
- Managing allocated accounts and fostering client relationships.
- Developing and executing strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Attending meetings and presenting tailored proposals and quotations to potential clients.
- Maintaining accurate sales records and assisting with sales activity reporting in CRM.
- Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and client communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in large format sales, graphic sales within the retail & events any other sectors.
- A proven track record in new business development and managing accounts selling large format print solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Organised, goal-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a target-driven environment.
- A team player with a people-driven attitude.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (experience with Pipedrive is advantageous).
