I'm working with a leading Fintech based in London. Looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of core banking systems across a fast-paced and evolving financial services environment.
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000
Location: London
Working pattern: 2-3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full delivery lifecycle of core banking system implementations—from discovery and design through to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technology, operations, compliance, and third-party vendors.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Act as the main point of contact between delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with business strategy, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Drive agile delivery practices while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering core banking systems (e.g., Temenos, Finastra, Mambu, Thought Machine, etc.).
- Solid background in project/delivery management within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of banking processes, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid project management experience.
- Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiation is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are desirable.
