We have an exciting new opportunity for a Principal HVAC Engineer to be based at our clients premises in Stockton–on–Tees.
About the Role:
- Providing the site based focal point for HVAC related issues that arise during manufacture, construction and commissioning and liaising with the Responsible Designer where design intent may be affected.
- Reviewing and responding to site generated and supplier technical queries, concession requests, commissioning reservations, etc.
- Managing HVAC instructed change either on site or via the Responsible Designer, as appropriate.
- Managing drawing configuration for the HVAC deliverables through the redline process or through the Responsible Designer.
- Interfacing with appropriate Design Lead Engineers, Package Managers, Section Engineers, Quality, Commissioning and Handover teams.
- Maintaining the configured HVAC design.
- Advising Construction on installation methods and constructability.
- Participating in constructability design reviews.
- Acting as custodian of design & engineering documentation on site.
