We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee our industrial manufacturing processes in Sheffield. The role will focus primarily on enhancing product quality, improving processes within Production and Inspection departments whilst ensuring health and safety compliance.
Our client is a large organisation within the industrial and manufacturing sector. They have a strong presence in the international market and specialise in providing high-quality engineered products to a wide range of industrial/manufacturing businesses.
As the Quality Manager you will be tasked with the following:
- Management of Quality Control policies
- Line Management of the Quality Control team
- Lead knowledge and training on measurement and assessment techniques as well as calibration equipment
- Disposition of non-conforming products
- Product quality compliance to specifications
- Promotion and development of quality control capability through new technology, equipment and techniques
- Responsibility for customer focus
A successful Quality Manager should have:
- Experienced quality professional
- Experience in managing a Quality Control team
- Strong metrology skills including programming CMM machines
- Experience in geometric tolerancing and calibration processes
- A form of engineering degree preferred
£35,000-£45,000 Salary
20 days holiday per annum (pro-rata) running Jan-Dec, plus 3 days over the Christmas period and all statutory days
1 additional day holiday for each full year of employment up to a maximum of 5 days
