We’re working with a leading law firm in Kent with an outstanding reputation in planning and development work. With a growing pipeline of work across the public and private sectors, the team is now looking to hire a Planning Solicitor from 2 years' PQE upwards – right up to senior level. This is a rare chance to join a top team where your expertise will be valued and your career supported.
The Opportunity:
- Advise on complex planning matters including s106 agreements, infrastructure projects, CPOs, enforcement, and appeals
- Act for developers, landowners, local authorities, and other key stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic development plans and high-profile regional schemes
- Take ownership of files and assist in supervising junior team members (if senior)
- Engage in BD and client growth initiatives
About You:
- 2+ years’ PQE in planning law (private or public sector background welcomed)
- Strong understanding of planning frameworks and legislation
- Confident advising independently or collaboratively, depending on level
- A team player with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
